UIUX Design
This project is a UI/UX design project created using Photoshop and Figma. The objective of this robot vacuum interface was to make the product easier to use without relying only on a mobile application. By creating an interface directly on the device, users can control the vacuum more efficiently without being affected by app updates, malfunctions, or glitches.
The demographic for this interface was designed for users ages 10 and up. This age range allows younger users to easily start a cleaning cycle while still keeping the interface accessible and understandable for adults. The goal was to create a clean and easy-to-use digital interface that allows users to start, stop, and schedule vacuuming for the entire house or specific rooms.
My role as a graphic designer was to create a functional interface that could be used directly on the device, through a phone application, and on a handheld controller. I focused on making the navigation simple and creating a consistent experience across different ways of controlling the robot vacuum.
The value I brought to this project was my ability to think about user accessibility and create a system that considers different
users, environments, and ways people interact with technology.
My impact on this project was designing an interface that reduced barriers between the user and the product. By focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and multiple control options, I created a user experience that made operating the robot vacuum feel more convenient and approachable.
