Brand Identity | Social media
This project is a brand identity and social media marketing designed in Adobe Express, Illustrator, and InDesign. It was designed for designExplorr. The problem was that high school and college students interested in graphic design didn't have the information or resources to pursue the career. The five-week program was created to bridge that gap by giving students opportunities to explore graphic design through research, resources, and hands-on projects involving real clients.
My role was graphic designer, where I created assets for the brand identity, including logo designs, color palette options, a presentation template, and posters. I also took photos during the sessions for social media marketing and promotion. Using those photos, I created social media graphics, GIFs, and carousels (multi-image post slideshows).
The value I brought to this project was my experience using the platform and understanding the different types of content that could be created and posted, which gave the program more variety across its social media.
My impact on this project was documenting the students' experiences and helping share the growth of the program. It was rewarding to see the students become more comfortable with each other over the five weeks, gain confidence in their design skills, and build connections while learning about graphic design. Capturing and sharing those moments through the program's social media helped tell the story of their progress and encouraged future students to see themselves as part of the program.
